This is Cody. He’s only four years old. He is fighting neuroblastoma. You can help.

Cody is the nephew of food blogger Stephanie Weaver. One year ago, on July 27, 2011, Cody was diagnosed with neuroblastoma. This little guy was given a 10-20% chance of survival due to the invasiveness and size of the tumor and additional cancer all over his body that lit up the scans.

Through some remarkable medical treatment and several surgeries, Cody is now in remission, and his family has faith and hope that he will have a full and complete recovery.

Cody travels to New York every two months for immunotherapy treatment at Sloan-Kettering Medical Center, and every three months for a complete body scan and bone marrow aspirations. He and his parents stay at Ronald McDonald House and are very grateful to that charity for their generosity.

Cody needs this painful treatment for the next two years and scans for the next five years, so family members like Stephanie are working to raise money for his healthcare expenses.

They estimate that they will need $15,000 per year to cover medical deductibles, travel expenses, and prescriptions.

Here is where you come in. Stephanie is hosting a week-long online bake sale and cookbook auction. A whole bunch of generous food bloggers and cookbook writers are donating baked goods, personally signed cookbooks, and a few other cool kitchen-related items for you to bid on. Please click here to visit her page, choose an item and bid. Keep bidding. Be generous. Thank you for helping!

Please note that donations are not tax deductible.
