A Picnic that’s More than a Feast

Want to attend a picnic with 4000 of your new best friends? Then make reservations today for the first pop-up picnic in San Diego, Le Dîner à San Diego. Following in the footsteps of similar events in Paris and San Francisco, San Diego’s location is a closely held secret until just hours before the event. And if the secrecy and spontaneity aren’t enough, everyone dresses in white. Lovely!

Tickets to the party cost $25; a portion of the proceeds go to Slow Food Urban San Diego’s school-to-farm program. Bring your own gourmet feast (I’ve got my eye on this dish), or purchase picnic fare and specialty cocktails from Campine and Snake Oil Cocktail Co. Don’t forget to pack your own chairs and linens (tables will be provided).

Grab your tickets to San Diego’s first-ever pop-up picnic; Le Dîner à San Diego is destined to be a night of magic and fun.

Disclosure: Le Dîner à San Diego provided me with two entrance tickets to the event for this post, but the enthusiasm is mine. Image courtesy of Le Dîner à San Diego.
